  • Lesson 1: Heart Posture

Great leaders are people of character. This lesson explores the biblical understanding that good leadership is grounded in the heart. It examines the importance of leading from a place of wholeness, integrity, and a heart aligned with God's Spirit. Sin has distorted humanity's original calling to take dominion over the earth, and instead, people often seek dominion over each other. True leadership, as taught in scripture, requires a transformation of the heart, leading from a place of security, integrity, and purpose. Through biblical principles and heart-centered self-reflection, this lesson starts us on our journey to become individuals after God’s own heart.

This lesson aims to equip you to:

    1. Explain the biblical concept of leadership as leadership rooted in character and integrity.
    2. Assess your own leadership motivations to identify areas of insecurity or a fractured heart.
